My special interests include clients who are neurodivergent (including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Neurofibromatosis) and trauma survivors (including complex trauma), utilising both EMDR and psychotherapy to help clients work through their own healing journey and start to safely and gently move forward in their lives. I myself
am neurodivergent, which has enabled me to both support and deepen my understanding of neurodiversity within the work I do.
I have extensive knowledge and training in EMDR, ACT, DBT, CBT, play therapy and person-centred therapy. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for several years in London with young disabled people who were at risk of social exclusion by supporting them into training, education and employment.
