I am a warm and experienced EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner and BACP accredited integrative psychotherapist. I have 19 years psychotherapy experience working in primary, secondary and tertiary education, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics for socio-economic disadvantaged communities. Over the last 7 years I have provided consultancy, training, and psychotherapy in private practice, as well as working as a Mental Health Practitioner at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge since September 2019.

I believe that no one person is the same, therefore my therapeutic approach will differ in order to meet each individual person where they are at in their lives. I have had the opportunity to have experienced living and working in several different countries in my life. This experience has had an impact on my therapeutic approach and has helped mould who I am as a psychotherapist. I have been honoured to work with both adults, young people as well as families from many different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.

My special interests include clients who are neurodivergent (including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Neurofibromatosis) and trauma survivors (including complex trauma), utilising both EMDR and psychotherapy to help clients work through their own healing journey and start to safely and gently move forward in their lives. I myself
am neurodivergent, which has enabled me to both support and deepen my understanding of neurodiversity within the work I do.

I have extensive knowledge and training in EMDR, ACT, DBT, CBT, play therapy and person-centred therapy.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for several years in London with young disabled people who were at risk of social exclusion by supporting them into training, education and employment.
